For the 171 years since Karl Marx wrote the Communist Manifesto, this quote from Adolf Hitler represents the evil underlying the tactics of the political left and all the enemies of freedom and liberty.
From the Bolsheviks of 1917 Russia to the Islamic Jihadists of 2019, the destruction of the West, by any means, has been their goal.
Throughout the last 70 years the West has been engaged in what Hitler called “this war of the future.”
The barbarians are not at the gate, they are in the house.
According to the Associated Press, an aviation student from Saudi Arabia, opened fire in a classroom at the Naval Air Station Pensacola on Friday morning (December 6), killing three people and wounding 12. The assault ended when a sheriff’s deputy killed the attacker.
On December 4, CNN reported that a US sailor killed two civilian workers and injured another before killing himself at Joint Base Pearl Harbor–Hickam in Hawaii.
This week also marks the 10th anniversary of the mass shootings at Fort Hood, Texas, when former Army major Nidal Hassan opened fire, killing 13 people and wounding 30 others.
One fact connects all three of these tragedies: US Military installations are gun-free zones.
Yes. You read that correctly. By command order, the men and women trained to defend our nation against all enemies, foreign and domestic, are not allowed to defend themselves while on base.
In a December 5 Tweet, Prager University quoted a statistic from the Crime Prevention Research Center (CPRC) stating: “Since 1950, 94 percent of mass public shootings occurred in gun free zones.”
The CPRC data also shows there have been 37 mass shootings that killed 368 people, 268 in gun-free zones in the 10 years between 2008 and 2018.
Only in the utopian fantasyland of the Left does taking away our Second Amendment right to bear arms (read carry a gun) equal less violence. It does not make anyone safer.
To the contrary, removing guns eliminates the ability to defend oneself against an armed assailant or the overreaches of our own government.
As we learn the details of the coup d’état to overturn an election and remove a duly elected sitting president by unelected bureaucrats and pseudo-intellectuals in the Democratic Party, we can plainly see that ALL of the rights guaranteed to us in the Constitution and the Bill of Rights are in grave danger.
The political Left wants absolute control over everyone and everything in this country.
Part of Left’s war on our future is to demoralize the enemy (us) from within. They are accomplishing their goal through the language of cowardice — political correctness. This tyranny has spread to the military eroding discipline and order and making us all less safe, especially the men and women who serve.
Congress is too occupied with a psychotic witch-hunt to get rid of the bad orange man to attend to the business of legislating. They do not care about our men and women in uniform.
The President MUST override the career bureaucrats in the Pentagon and rescind the politically correct orders that mandate that military installations be virtual gun-free zones.

Let’s pray that this insanity within our own government stops. Your reporting shows the left’s systematic way of weakening our nation. Oh, and I hate Hitler. Prager good. Hitler bad.
I fully agree that U.S. military bases must not be gun-free zones. That’s pure insanity — which describes the Left to a T (as in tyranny).
Note that the Left’s insistence on gun-free zones actually shows up an ideological truth: the Left (the ultra-radicals of the socialist club) doesn’t really believe that people are inherently good; they don’t trust people to make the Left-envisioned correct decisions on the personal level (individual minds and desires).
Leftists believe that the State is more important than the individual. This truth has been proven, over and over again, for more than 200 years.
So Leftists seek to control everyone with despotic and dehumanizing laws to make a society (a one-world society) of helpless, needy, dumbed-down, terrified people who will comply with the “good” dictated by the self-appointed “enlightened” ruling class — and voila! They think they will make society perfect because they have made human beings perfect — meaning “good” and docile slaves. Of course, that shows the Left’s complete lack of understanding of human nature — and that Leftists will do anything, to everyone, to achieve their utopian dream. And call themselves “good” — just as the ACLU does.
And the Left’s best friend — the Islamists — merely use socialist delusions for their own convenience, for their anti-American efforts. Any weak spot they see, especially at Christmas, provides them with their twisted version of joy and hope — and prime opportunity.
All this isn’t a fantasy; it’s happening right before your eyes.
My advice: use your voice for liberty so you may not have to use your guns — but, by God, keep your guns, too.
