Do these two young ladies look like terrorists to you?  Probably not, but the Transportation Safety Administration thinks so.

I have written about the obscenities perpetrated by the thugs at the TSA before (Underwear, Shoes, Cupcakes, and Too Much Government), but they just seem to get more stupid with every passing second.

Strike 1

The TSA is now scrambling to try and defend its decision to pat down an “uncooperative suspect” — a frightened, crying, screaming four-year-old girl!  Yes Virginia, there are boogeymen (and women), and they are waiting at the airport to molest and traumatize you.

An Associated Press (AP) story carried on the Drudge Report yesterday, says “The grandmother of a 4-year-old girl who became hysterical during a security screening at a Kansas airport said Wednesday that the child was forced to undergo a pat-down after hugging her, with security agents yelling and calling the crying girl an uncooperative suspect.”

“Isabella had just learned about ‘stranger danger’ at school, her grandmother said, adding that the girl was afraid and unsure about what was going on.”

“She started to cry, saying ‘No I don’t want to,’ and when we tried talking to her she ran,” Croft said.  “They yelled, ‘We are going to shut down the airport if you don’t grab her.’”

“But she said the family’s main concern was the lack of understanding from TSA agents that they were dealing with a 4-year-old child, not a terror suspect,” according to the AP story.

Be afraid everyone.  Be very afraid of a frightened four-year-old girl trying to hijack the 747 you’re on to San Francisco or some other unsavory destination.

TSA “security agents” are no more than badge-heavy, unionized child molesters and sexual perverts paid to molest American citizens who choose to travel by air.  This is your tax dollars at work!  And the flying public is no safer.

Strike 2

CBS-DC reports that a family missed their flight after TSA “pats down” a seven-year-old girl with cerebral palsy.  The girl cannot go through the scanner because of her crutches and braces.  However, instead of a gentle pat down, the developmentally disabled girl was “handled aggressively,” according to the report.

Strike 3

The TSA thinks Representative Francisco "Quico" Canseco (R-Texas) is a security threat. The only danger Rep. Canseco, a Hispanic Republican, poses is to the Democrats.

No one is safe from these barbarians, not even Congressmen.  According to a story from KENS-5 television in San Antonio, Texas, a United States Congressman was selected for “random” enhanced screening not once, but twice in one week.

U.S. Rep. Francisco Canseco said he was assaulted by a TSA agent at the San Antonio International Airport.

The Texas Congressman said the security agent went too far during a pat-down earlier this month.

“The agent was very aggressive in his pat-down, and he was patting me down where no one is supposed to go,” said Canseco.  “It got very uncomfortable so I moved his hand away.  That stopped everything and brought in supervisors and everyone else.”

Canseco told the KENS 5 I-Team the agent said he too was assaulted when Canseco pushed his hand away.

You’re Out!

The Los Angeles Times reports that TSA screeners at Los Angeles International Airport have been arrested for allegedly taking bribes to allow drug-filled luggage to pass through airport security.

 Four current and former Transportation Security Administration screeners have been arrested and face charges of taking bribes and looking the other way while suitcases filled with cocaine, methamphetamine or marijuana passed through X-ray machines at Los Angeles International Airport, federal authorities announced Wednesday.

The TSA screeners, who were arrested Tuesday night and Wednesday morning, allegedly received up to $2,400 in cash bribes in exchange for allowing large drug shipments to pass through checkpoints in what the U.S. attorney in Los Angeles called a “significant breakdown” of security, according to the Times.

It makes one wonder what else is getting through airport “security.”  Do you feel safe yet?  I doubt it.

At a minimum, we must reign in the TSA and put new, Israeli-type procedures in place.  El Al, the flagship airline of Israel, has not had a hijacking since 1968. 

In fact, a better solution would be to privatize airport security, taking responsibility out of the inefficient and corrupt hands of government and their unionized sexual predators, and return it to those who have the greatest interest in safety and security — the airlines. 

Either way, the TSA as it is now must go. 

There is one effective way we can bring this change: an organized, vocal boycott of the airlines on busy travel holidays. Make the entire United States a virtual no-fly zone during the holidays.  

The economic impact of the lost revenue from just one three-day holiday boycott would send the airlines screaming to the halls of Congress demanding an end to the TSA.

Money talks.  It is time we let our money tell the airlines and the government that we have had enough of the atrocities perpetrated by the TSA.
